I like this app....I use my iPad 2 to manipulate the shutter on my iPad 3 with great results!

Very cool App, but Im not happy with the quality of the photos, hopefully it improves or maybe Im doing something wrong?

Wifi Camera is to slow out of wifi network. For outdoor picture this app is way better than wifi camera because this app just show low quality picture for remote. And more nice function added.

Do not buy. You will be charge twice for a 1 app.

Wasted hours trying to connect everything and still cant get the app to work with my 7D. Disappointed.

Set up was a breeze between my touch 4g and iPhone 4. Very quick and responsive for a connection over Bluetooth. Love the live preview too. Beats any other app Ive tried.

I paid .99 once and installed on all 3 of my devices...iPhone4, iTouch4, & iPad2. Works as described. Nice functions such as being able to control the camera device features from the remote device. Like flash & autofocus. And I was able to take pictures remotely from several rooms away, over 25ft!! Only let downs are the remote preview quality (choppy image) & the fact that it doesnt rotate the camera device properly (buttons rotate but image stays upside down). I hate when people write bad reviews about apps when its their fault they dont read the DESCRIPTION!! Its not meant to work with real cameras!!

This is a pretty cool app. The other reviewer has the same complaints: choppy video and the frame doesnt rotate but most of the buttons and icons do rotate. The choppy video and communication between devices I think can be attributed to Bluetooth. I experienced similar drops with a Bluetooth connected game. However, when the connection is working it does work as advertised, is cool, and it is well worth the price!

I have ipad2 connecting to iPhone4s as camera. All live view on screen looks good but photos taken are overexposed. The same photo taken using iPhone camera or other apps yield good exposure but under remote control exposure is wrong.

Does what it says it will do, but could use a couple of improvements & additional features. Needs to support the retina display on the new iPad. Some of the screen elements dont work. Specifically the filter selector. Im glad it uses Bluetooth since this makes things easier to connect, even in nature. However, I feel not having WiFi support is a big miss. I would prefer to use WiFi if I can. Im sure the remote would have a higher resolution for viewing. Really should be able to touch the screen in a particular spot to focus on that area. Needs to be able to disable the ability to save the image to both devices. Very annoying to get double images in photo stream. Would love to be able to remotely control multiple devices at once. It would be great to take a single photo from multiple angles.

I live when I have a problem I hope an app will solve, search and then find an exact solution. Well done. Id request a few more features like touch focus and such but wow is this awesome. Im using it to photo birds at a feeder. I got excellent results do far. Thanks for developing!

I could not connect between my iPhone 4s and iPad 2 because to enable Bluetooth I have to activate a personal hotspot through iPhone settings with my carrier Sprint. This means additional monthly charges. Since I just want to use my phone for taking a photo from my iPad, maybe just once every so often, this isnt worth paying for hotspot. Upgrade this app for wifi and only then can I use it.

I have an iPhone 4S and the new iPad (iPad 3), iOS 6.01 installed on both. Other applications with Bluetooth sharing run smoothly on it. Unfortunately, this app is not! Although I purchased the full version and the inapp unlock of the free version (I paid a lot!). I tried everything, no benefit!. I contacted the support department, all of their responses where worthless. I purchased the app mainly for this service (remote Bluetooth cam) , but its not working. I hope the team solve this problem early and take it seriously. It may be an issue related to the reported Bluetooth connectivity issues of iOS 6, but still there are other apps that passed the challenge successfully. I hope I can use the app soon. Please issue an update with the solution, both for the iPad and iPhone. Thanks for your efforts and sorry for the low rating.

Good app. Im using 4s iphone as remote control for ipad 2 cam. Most features work. No focus.

An okay app.

I bought this app so i would be able to use my ipod as a remote and my ipad as the camera. Cant connect between the two devices. Only thing I can do with it is take pics and there are a lot of free apps that will do that.

Its a cool concept with a truly bad execution. I used an iPhone 5 and an iPad 4th Gen with Retina display. I connected my iPhone as the remote and the iPad as the remote shutter camera. In ALL situations, using the Remote Shutter app resulted in low resolution, pixelated and blurry photos. Taking the same photo (with same lighting, same camera direction etc) without the Remote Shutter app resulted in much better clarity. At one point the Bluetooth connection was lost even though both devices were a foot from each other. Finally, I had to pay for the app on both my iPhone and iPad, so I paid twice for the same crappy app. I highly recommend that you skip purchasing this app.

Does what its suppose to

I use this app with my iPhone4 and iPhone5 as a chassis diagnosis tool, works great especially with the ability to enable the light/torch. Only things to add/improve would be; 1) Video capture option. 2) Higher resolution for the remote live preview, (captured pics are great resolution) 3) Manual focus ability. If the app had these it would be PERFECT and worth twice the price.
